Arkansas Pastors and Christian Leaders

Since Roe V. Wade we've been on a continuous hamster wheel of incremental bills that dance around the edges of abortion. Much like the Israelites wandering in the wilderness for 40 years, the pro life movement has been wandering in a wilderness of poor strategies, pragmatism, and fear of man. Despite our pro-life majorities babies are being murdered in Arkansas. Despite our pro-life bills babies are being murdered in Arkansas. Despite our ranking as the 2nd most Pro-Life state, 4,500 babies will be murdered this year in Arkansas. As a movement, we must return to the foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the source of strength and wisdom to fight the battle for life victoriously in our state. Like David, it's time for us to stand up to the giant. It's time for us to end abortion in the state of Arkansas.

Steps for Ending Abortion in Arkansas

  1. The Church
  • The Church must interpose for its preborn neighbors by showing up to the abortion mills to engage the culture with the Gospel of the Kingdom and obey what scripture commands.
Proverbs 24:11 "Rescue those unjustly sentenced to die; save them as they                     stagger to their death."

  • Secondly, the magistrates  must become an inherent part of the church's mission field. The church is called to disciple legislators about their duty to interpose on behalf of the preborn. Christians must encourage their local magistrates to introduce and support uncompromising legislation that completely abolishes human abortion.
Proverbs 31:8 commands "Speak for those who cannot speak for themselves;                 ensure justice for those being crushed."

  2. The State
  • The state of Arkansas must establish The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate and interpose on behalf of the preborn to defend their lives. The doctrine teaches, "When a superior, higher ranking civil authority makes immoral/unjust laws or policies, the lower or lesser ranking civil authority has both the right and duty to to refuse obedience to that superior authority."

  • Roe V. Wade is not the law of the land. It is lawless judicial overreach, and we, as the state, cannot wait for it to be overturned. The state of Arkansas must do its just and lawful duty now, and protect the lives of preborn Arkansans through the abolition of human abortion.
Acts 5:29 "But Peter and the apostles said, we must obey God rather than any               human authority."
